Radiology (X-ray)
The radiology suite offers state-of-the-art imaging services with digital equipment that allows our healthcare providers to view images instantly. Copies of images are available to patients for a small fee. For specialized imaging such as MRI, CAT scans and ultrasound, SHS partners with Imaging Healthcare Specialists (IHS) to offer discounted student rates; IHS accepts most private insurances.
If you do not have healthcare insurance or cannot afford specialized imaging medical social workers are available in the Health Promotion Department to help you find resources in the community that can help you pay for the costs of specialized health care. Call 619-594-4133 to make an appointment; walk-in appointments available as staff permits.
